The Barcelona Smart City Meeting is here! Come to Barcelona on Tuesday, April 21st.

This 1-day visit includes a Barcelona City Council and City Protocol Society keynote, a “paella” lunch at the beach, a Smart City tour and a Sagrada Família VIP protocol visit.

Barcelona will share the Smart City concept and check the reality behind the recent award: “Global Smart City 2015”.

The objective is to show:

Keynotes:

• What the city of Barcelona has done so far, what it is doing and what it will do to progress every day in the Smart City evolution.

• How City Protocol Society, a cross-sector smart city platform, can help cities be more resilient, efficient and self-sufficient by leading them to shared open solution platforms, and a better and more cost effective market place solution.

• How Microsoft and Bismart can help from real case studies to achieve the transformation objectives.

Sagrada Família visit objective:

• To see how one of the main Barcelona POI collaborates with and helps the city to manage the high number of visitors and their impact in the neighborhood.
  

Smart City Tour:

• Guided by Barcelona City staff, we will check real cases of transformation and innovation around the city.

Networking time:

• Introduction and meeting people from different cities. Sharing ideas and experiences.
